Physical Therapist Assistant - Part Time

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing treatment plans as directed by a licensed physical therapist.
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises and activities to enhance physical function and recovery.
• Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and provide feedback to ensure safe participation.
• Maintain the proper application of treatment modalities and monitor patient responses.
• Adjust treatment parameters based on patient progress and therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment and document their progress.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising physical therapist, updating on patient progress and making adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active license/certification in the state of practice.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
