About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care in our outpatient physical therapy clinics. Responsibilities include assisting patients with exercises, administering treatments, and documenting patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Administer treatments such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A current CPR certification
• Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Schedule
