Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Job Summary

Sheltering Arms Institute, a non-profit, state-of-the-science destination inpatient rehabilitation hospital and network of outpatient centers, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join their outpatient team at the Reynolds location. The position covers orthopedic and concussion conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer a treatment plan under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist.
• Document and communicate with team members.
• Supervise non-licensed personnel.
• Instruct therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant educational program.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions.
• CPR certification required.
