Physical Therapist Assistant (License)

Outpatient Rehabilitation – Red Oak, TX

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role requires extensive knowledge of orthopedic and sport-specific rehabilitation for both operative and non-operative cases. You will work with specialty-trained clinicians, utilizing advanced diagnostic and interventional equipment to treat a variety of diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assist with implementing the therapy plan of care.
• Delegate and direct supportive personnel to enhance patient care services for assigned patients.
• Consistently communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding scheduled patients to ensure proper assessment, reassessment, modification of treatment plans, and other interventions requiring therapist direction.
• Participate in the education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Pay

Starting rate: $34 per hour.
