Physical Therapist Assistant Home Health PRN

Work one-on-one with patients when and where they need the most help – in their home!

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you have the unique opportunity to make a huge difference in your patients’ lives and see firsthand how your work helps patients gain the strength and independence they need to participate in their desired daily living activities, such as going to church or working in the garden.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in their home setting
• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Assist patients in performing exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during sessions
• Adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress

Requirements

• A Bachelor/Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy
• Currently licensed in state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination
• Minimum one year experience in a home health setting

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about improving patients' quality of life
• Flexibility to work in various locations within the Marble Falls and Llano coverage areas

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of home health care protocols and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and environments
