About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Family Life Care, you will play a vital role in helping our patients by providing compassionate and professional care in the comfort of their own home. You will have the opportunity to choose from various assignments, such as long-term care or assisting with recovery from an injury or illness. FLC works with you to build your work schedule around your needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical care in the home as assigned by a Physical Therapist.
• Help patients remain at home in a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment by performing tasks such as administration of medication, feeding, and other care as needed per patient's plan of care.
• Communicate any changes affecting the patient's medical condition and needs with other team members and family members.
• Keep records of all tasks performed and the patient's overall health and behavioral status.

Requirements

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Current CPR Certification
• Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
• Current TB test with negative results
• Ability to pass a Level II background check
