Qualifications
- Associates degree required for Physical Therapist Assistant
- State of California Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
- Two years of experience as an assistant preferred for Physical Therapist Assistant
What You'll Do
- Performs specific tests and measurements in Physical Therapy Clinics
- Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis as designated in the treatment plan
- Utilize physical therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis as designated in the treatment plan
- Assist Physical Therapist in patient discharge planning as needed
- Record signed notes into the patient record each time physical therapy services have been performed
Job Information
- Full-time and per diem, day shifts available
- Starting wage $35.00 to $42.42 based on qualifications
- $5,000 retention bonus paid out after 18 months of full-time employment
