Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Provide compassionate and skilled care to patients in a variety of settings. Assist in physical therapy treatments and assist patients with their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in patient care activities
• Help patients with mobility exercises and transfers
• Administer ice and heat therapies as directed
• Support patients with their exercise routines and progress monitoring
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
