Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
VNA Health Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high‑quality, one‑on‑one rehabilitative care to patients in their homes. Under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA implements individualized treatment plans that enhance mobility, restore function, and promote independence for a diverse adult population (ages 21 and up) with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and general debility diagnoses. The role offers independent practice, personalized patient interaction, and the ability to treat patients directly in their preferred environment, supported by immediate supervisory support in the field and a comprehensive, hands‑on Home Care Orientation program. Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Follow the established plan of care and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress
- Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient responses
