Physical Therapist Assistant

Essential Job Functions

• Provides quality patient care according to the plan of care developed by the physical therapist.
• Documents patient care as outlined in physical therapy policy and according to generally accepted standards of care, in a timely manner as outlined in the department policy or standards.
• Mets regularly with the supervising therapist as required by regulations.
• Will make the therapist aware of any patient care issues and/or if patient need to be reevaluated.
• Participates in community relations activities as needed.
• Actively engages with discharge planning and other departments as needed to provide patient care.
• Mets all continuing education requirements as dictated
• Affirms quality patient care by demonstrating competency and maintaining required certification and continuing education.
• Participate in mandatory training.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited therapy school required.
• Current Idaho license through Board of Physical Therapy required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in multiple treatment settings preferred.
