About the role
Sportscare and Armworks Physical and Hand Therapy is a therapist‑owned clinic with a family culture and top reputation since 1963, locally owned and operated by therapists. The clinic began providing physical therapy to the Portland metro area in 1963 and added occupational/hand therapy in 2006. Today, a cohesive team of 85 members uses comprehensive OT and PT treatment approaches at six convenient locations throughout the Portland metro area, with an additional location in Salem, OR. This opening is for a full‑time Physical Therapist Assistant at the Gresham, Oregon clinic. Gresham offers a blend of community charm and urban convenience, situated minutes from Mount Hood, Multnomah Falls, the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Portland, and Portland International Airport.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapist assistant services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Utilize a wide range of therapy equipment and gym space to deliver patient care.
- Conduct 1:1 patient appointments averaging 45 minutes.
- Collaborate with a cohesive team using comprehensive OT and PT treatment approaches.
- Are not responsible for completing insurance authorizations for patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE‑accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Oregon state license.
- CPR certification.
- Outgoing and energetic personality.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask.
- A passion for physical therapy and patient care.

Pay
Compensation: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour, base salary dependent upon experience level.
Schedule
45‑minute appointments, 1:1 care, half‑day Fridays schedule option available; flexible schedule offered.
