About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Shore Acres Care Center, a state-of-the-art sub-acute medical care facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Physical Therapist
- Contribute objective data to Physical Therapists as allowed by scope of practice
- Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
- Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT, and facility success
Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- A current Florida PTA License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be computer/tech-savvy
