About the Role
Select Physical Therapy is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our outpatient clinic. Join a team of 2 PTs and 1 PTA treating an outpatient orthopedic population with specialties in neuro and fall prevention. Excellent opportunity for mentorship, with potential for more hours or full-time if flexible across nearby locations. New grads welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Requirements
- College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
- Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process).
- Minimum 2 years outpatient orthopedics experience.
- CPR Certification.
Pay
$30/hr - $35/hr
Schedule
PRN, Monday-Friday
