Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Physical Therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal physical function, mobility, and overall well-being for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with a variety of diagnoses and conditions
• Conduct and document patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments
• Use a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities to promote patient progress and independence
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans
