PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

About the role

Under direction from the Director of Therapy & Wellness and/or Staff Physical Therapists, performs selected patient physical therapy treatments including but not limited to assisting with assessments, treatment, and documentation as prescribed by the referring physician and established by the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Perform physical therapy treatments prescribed by the referring physician
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements

• MN Physical Therapist Assistant License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one year of hire
• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience (preferred)

Pay

$24.03 to $35.57 hourly
