Physical Therapist Assistant
Position Summary
Professional Therapy Partners is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic in Clovis, NM. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, this role involves implementing individualized care plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as established by the evaluating Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional activities focusing on movement, performance, and long-term results.
- Monitor and report patient progress or adverse responses to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 11 to 14 patients.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation for all patient encounters.
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and fellow clinicians to ensure high standards of care.
- Actively participate in continuous professional growth.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Licensure: Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of New Mexico (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience: Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Compensation And Benefits
- Base Salary: $33 to $37 per hour (commensurate with clinical experience).
