Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, applying therapeutic modalities, and documenting patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises
• Apply therapeutic modalities as directed by the supervising PT
• Document patient progress in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program
• Current Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
