Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload.
• Conduct resident screens (without interpretation) as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Participate in the clinical team process.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Participate in clinical program development.
• Collect assessment data as part of the evaluation process, as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Prepare treatment materials and assist with other clerical duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA-accredited program.
• Professional licensure in the state of hire or eligibility for licensure in states that regulate the Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Effective time management skills.

Pay

Negotiable, based on experience.

Schedule
