The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being, following a prescribed plan of care under supervision. This role requires adaptability to various home environments and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualified physical therapy procedures as outlined in the plan of care.
• Instruct patients in exercises and functional activities.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in the state.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
• Availability for weekend rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Physical ability to assist with patient mobility tasks.
