Physical Therapist Assistant

Role: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to improve patient well-being within a home care setting. Responsibilities include: Following all state laws and the treatment plan set by the supervising Physical Therapist.Instructing and assisting patients with exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.Monitoring and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities.Adapting to diverse home environments and patient needs. Qualifications: Current license or certification to practice physical therapy assistance in the state.Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, or access to public transit.Availability to work weekend rotations.Preferred: CPR certification and ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and transferring.
