Physical Therapist Assistant

Position Summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Murrysville) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides high-quality, hands-on therapy services that support patient recovery, improve mobility, and enhance functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
• Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Active Pennsylvania license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
