About the role

Elderwood at Cheektowaga is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team and make a real impact in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans
• Record resident progress and behavior in clinical notes
• Maintain therapy supplies and ensure equipment sanitation
• Participate in in-service trainings and team meetings
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• New York State PTA license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
