Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients across Senior Living Communities. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping seniors recover, enhance mobility, and maintain their independence through tailored physical therapy treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for seniors.
- Assess patient needs and progress regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Provide education to patients and families on maintaining mobility and preventing falls.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately and timely.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Arizona.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic modalities.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
