Who We're Seeking

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality in-home therapy services to a diverse clientele, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise in accordance with established physical therapy standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to truly get to know your patients and become an integral part of their care team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to craft personalized, goal-oriented care plans for each patient, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Identify and document patient needs, facilitating timely communication with the supervising physical therapist to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Execute standard measurement techniques, such as ROM, strength, and balance tests, to track and enhance patient progress.
  • Apply various therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
  • Uphold Standard Precautions during patient care, prioritizing safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to the team by assisting in body mechanics training, developing documentation forms, and participating in educational in-services and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Preferred one year of clinical practice in a medically oriented setting
  • Valid driver's license
