Responsibilities
- Perform patient treatments, exercise instruction, and education to enhance well-being following the plan of care set by a supervising Physical Therapist.
- Adhere to state laws and practice within qualified procedures, reporting patient responses and condition changes.
- Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Coordinate care with healthcare team members and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
- Operate effectively in diverse home settings, respecting all clients regardless of background.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current licensure or certification in physical therapy assistance
- Valid driver’s license, and transportation
- Availability for weekend work
- Preferred CPR certification
- Physical ability for mobility tasks
Compensation
Pay includes hourly and per visit rates, with full-time total cash compensation ranging from $55,329 to $82,993 annually, depending on productivity.
