The goal is to help patients improve their mobility, independence, and overall functional abilities while supporting an individualized plan of care. Primary Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.Collaborate with members of the rehabilitation team to provide programs that are appropriate for each patient's needs and abilities.Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures as directed.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on physical therapy treatment techniques and home programs under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for patients and team members. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).Current license or eligibility for licensure as required by the state of practice.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care.
