Physical Therapist - Arlington, VA

About the Role

This position involves providing one-on-one physical therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities, focusing on improving mobility, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based treatments. The therapist will perform evaluations, develop personalized care plans, and deliver therapy sessions supporting wellness and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home and community-based physical therapy, including virtual care when appropriate
• Document patient progress accurately within EMR systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety, function, and aging in place

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility in the practice state
• Degree from an accredited PT program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, repositioning, and assisting patients
