Physical Therapist Aide

About the role

The Physical Therapist Aide is the liaison between the patient and the Physical Therapist. The role includes assisting the patient from time of arrival to their departure, making sure patients have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Calling patients into the treatment from the waiting room
• Maintaining a clean facility throughout the day
• Washing and drying laundry, ensuring towels are clean and available
• Working as a team member to ensure the patient receives a positive experience
• Maintaining a positive, professional demeanor at all times
• Keeping a safe and orderly work environment
• Answering phone calls and scheduling patients as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to fluid situations
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
• Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
