About the role

Available Shifts: 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $2647.00 - $2728.00
PT- Outpatient needed as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Organize and monitor the work of others.
• Relate effectively with patients, nurses, physicians, and other hospital/home health staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Analyse and interpret patient physicians' orders for physical therapy patients and develop an effective treatment plan as needed.
• Utilize good oral and written communication skills necessary to meet the demands of the job.
• Use physical therapy equipment such as hot packs, electrical stimulation, modalities, exercise equipment, weights, walking aides, whirlpools, wheelchairs, traction devices, and diathermy.

Requirements

• Current BLS course completion.
• Current California Physical Therapy license, or eligible for registration.
• Member of APTA preferred.
• A valid California drivers license when travel is required.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited college or university in physical therapy, or a related field.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current California Physical Therapy license, or eligible for registration.
• Current BLS course completion.
• Valid California drivers license when travel is required.
