PHYSICAL THERAPIST ACUTE CARE INPATIENT REHAB

About the role

This full-time Physical Therapist position is in the Acute Care Inpatient Rehab Unit. Please state whether you are interested in the Acute or the Rehab unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
• Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients' home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
• Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• At least 1 year of PT experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No travel required
