Physical Therapist - Acute Care, Full-Time Days

About the role

Perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients directly and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with state practice laws.
• Deliver care aligned with departmental policies, standards, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current or temporary state licensure.
• BLS certification; must be current before independently caring for patients.

Preferred

• 6 months to 1 year of experience with adult and geriatric populations.

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and performing physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
