About the Role

The physical therapist evaluates, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity related to disease or injury. Services are provided across the care continuum, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and revises treatment plans with patient and family input.
  • Provides patient education, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborates with physicians for ongoing assessment and goal setting.
  • Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental protocols.
  • Acts as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
  • Maintains ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
  • Participates in professional development, mandatory trainings, and team activities.
  • Ensures safe, respectful, and customer-focused service in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist; BLS certification required.
  • Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
