Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Role: Provides skilled physical therapy services in an acute care setting, including evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals and delegating tasks to assistants and students. Completes documentation per departmental policies and conducts assessments, reassessments, and consultations. Responsibilities Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status.Educates and collaborates with patients and healthcare team members.Delegates interventions based on competency and patient needs.Maintains accurate documentation and provides clinical assessments. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Master’s Degree preferred.Licensed as a Physical Therapist.No prior experience required; supervision experience not mandatory.
