Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic treatments such as exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
- Educate patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Provide excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries.
Requirements
- Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
- Licensure: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire.
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 USD
Schedule
Full-time with flexible scheduling, including weekends, with weekend pay of 25% on top of base rate for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
