Physical Therapist - Acute Care
About the role
The Physical Therapist at MultiCare evaluates, plans, and implements medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position allows for independent operations while ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.
Responsibilities
- Perform well in stress and emergency situations
- Conduct patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish and modify treatment plans based on patient needs and treatment responses
- Treat outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed
- Document treatment interventions and progress in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Requirements
- Successfully completed state board examination
- Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington
- Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiac patient management is desirable

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position ranges from $49.36 to $78.25 USD per hour. Specific pay is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certifications or educational background.
