About the role
Select Specialty Hospital Greensboro is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Physical Therapists (PTs) are integral in offering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
- Promoting continuous quality improvement.
- Teaching and counseling patients and families.
- Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
- Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
- Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment.
- Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and PT and PTA students.
- Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
- Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
- Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
- Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Completion of a clinical residency or internship in physical therapy.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software.

Pay
- $34.00 to $50.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Full-Time - Monday through Friday.
