Role/Department
Physical Security Tech Specialist/Corporate Security (GPSS)
Responsible For
- Managing the organization’s physical security systems, including hardware installation, configuration, and programming of applications
- Conducting system testing in UAT and production environments for application and equipment upgrades
- Collecting and providing data and documentation for compliance audits pertaining to the security systems
- Developing end user guides and conducting training programs for company personnel
- Aiding in coordinating projects, overseeing project phases in conjunction with Information Technology staff
- Maintaining tracking and reporting of vendor technical support related to security systems, equipment, and applications
- Processing requests from the identity management system regarding system access
- Preparing and maintaining training materials for security equipment and applications for end users
- Aiding in security investigations, including the retention of data and evidence, as well as authorized distribution to internal and external entities
- Preparing and maintaining reports and other documentation for review in internal and external audits
- Documenting and tracking all observed and reported issues with security systems and components
- Investigating new security technologies and advising management on potential implementation
- Aiding in maintaining inventory of all security equipment and supplies
- Reviewing procedures and practices to demonstrate compliance with applicable federal and state regulatory requirements and adherence to internal policies
Key Responsibilities
- Provide security system support related to upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with management and local business units to establish and improve security needs of offices
- Liaise with third-party vendors and internal IT groups in support of security systems, equipment, and applications

Skills/Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of risk management and physical security typically acquired through related experience is preferred
- HW and SW troubleshooting skills required; Security system knowledge (i.e. CCTV, alarms, access control systems) is preferred
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are required to be able to identify and troubleshoot malfunctions of security equipment and applications
- Ability to monitor and generate reports related to subject matter
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
- Good oral and written communication skills are required
- To excel within large organizational setting, including working with various internal and external teams and performing remote work as necessary
- Requires established skills to perform a range of routine day-to-day activities
- A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience

Pay
Salary Range: $61,500 - 98,300 USD
Schedule
The role requires the individual to be onsite 5 days a week between 7:30am and 4pm
