Physical Plant Tech, Evenings

Responsibilities

Maintains operation and maintenance of all Physical Plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum Experience Required: Two (2) years of experience in a related field, including hands-on practical knowledge of boilers, chillers, commercial air handling equipment, pumps, air compressors, pneumatic controls, DDC controls, refrigeration equipment, and building energy management systems.
• Minimum Licensure/Certification Required: Must possess a current 4th class National Power Engineers license per the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE) or a current 4th class Georgia Power Engineers license per the Georgia State Association of Power Engineers (will accept 1st, 2nd, or 3rd class GA Power Engineers License in lieu of 4th class). Must also possess an EPA Universal Refrigeration Certificate.
• Additional Qualifications: Valid Georgia driver’s license and adherence to Piedmont’s Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 criteria preferred.
