About the role

This facility is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician for locum tenens support to fill a current need. Practice setting: inpatient rehabilitation hospital attached to the main hospital, with no outpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical medicine and rehabilitation care
• Perform assigned patient rounding
• Handle admissions
• Conduct rehabilitation consultations
• Lead interdisciplinary team
• Supervise advanced practice providers
• Manage consultation service volume of 25–40 patients

Requirements

• Active North Carolina medical license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record

$184.30 – $199.50 (hourly rate)
