About the Role
Part-time Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician position in Billerica, MA with a national wound physician group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. You will become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors while utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping you with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week for full-time positions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Operate as a mobile practice, visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship is available).
Schedule
- Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part-time available.
- Part-time role: minimum of 3 days per week.
- Full-time role: 4-5 days per week.
- No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
