Part-Time Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician Position in Sioux Falls, SD with National Wound Physician Group. Clinical satisfaction, autonomy and flexibility, work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound‑certified physician trainers and fellowship directors.
• Utilize cutting‑edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Receive physician‑level wound management training and participate in a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post‑acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long‑Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2‑3 facilities per day within a 40‑60 mile radius, treating approximately 20‑30 patients per day.
• Document care at point of care in real time using a proprietary wound‑specific EMR.
• Complete paid onboarding training plus a 6‑month wound care fellowship.
• Work under a W2 employment contract (no work‑visa sponsorship available).

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Pay

W2 full‑time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.

Schedule

• No nights, no call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑4 pm (approximately 45‑hour work week).
• Part‑time role: minimum of 3 days per week; full‑time role: 4‑5 days per week.
• Mobile practice within a 40‑60 mile radius of Sioux Falls, SD.
