Physical & Electronic Security Project Manager

About the role

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Physical/Electronic Project Manager to join a design services company for mission critical systems based in Tysons, VA, with an opportunity to get processed for a security clearance up to a TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead security service projects from cradle to grave
• Run day-to-day operations of a project
• Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution
• Price, track, and manage change orders
• Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Research and compile submittals; price change orders and prepare estimates for partially designed projects by finishing the design and preparing a complete project estimate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in physical or electronic systems (intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems)
• Prior experience in the engineering/design of such systems
• Experience working on construction projects ranging from $100,000 to $10M
• Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings on projects

Pay

Compensation for the Physical/Electronic Project Manager: $100,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
