Physical Education Teacher, 2026-27 SY, Twin Cities International Schools

Twin Cities International Schools, a public charter school in the North Loop of Minneapolis with approximately 1,000 K-8 students, is seeking a K-5 Physical Education teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Position starts August 16th, 2026. Applicants must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license by the start date.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with assigned grade-level teams
• Engage students in learning through best-practice strategies and establish high expectations
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff
• Plan, organize, and deliver lessons aligned with Minnesota state standards and curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Experience with standards-based instruction, English-Language Learners, and common assessments is a plus
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay

Salary for the 2026-27 school year ranges from $47,568.18 to $85,922.88, based on experience and education. Current Minnesota licensed Tier 3 or 4 teachers start at $51,828.55. Additional salary increments are available for completed Master’s, Master’s + 60 credits, Ed.D., or Ph.D.
