Physical AI Senior Researcher

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research to advance fundamental Physical AI technologies, including but not limited to robotics, computer vision, AI/ML, and human-computer interaction (HCI), as well as their downstream applications.
• Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and present work at invited talks, conferences, and workshops.
• Integrate technologies across the stack, from early-stage in-house research developed to commercially available systems, to create impactful solutions for real-world problems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including leading university researchers, to advance innovative research and technology development.

Essential Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Strong track record of publishing research in top-tier venues, such as ICRA, IROS, RSS, CoRL, NeurIPS, ICRL, ICML, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, CHI, UIST, etc.
• Strong expertise in developing application-focused approaches for real-world deployment of Physical AI.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI development practices.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in interdisciplinary research collaborations
• Strong prototyping skills for rapid validation of ideas and systems
• Proficiency in C++
• Familiarity with APIs and database systems
• Experience with ROS or other robot software and libraries
• Experience working with 3D tools
