Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and drive sales through technical expertise.
- Lead customer discovery and translate needs into UR/MiR solutions.
- Deliver demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept experiences.
- Build ROI analyses, proposals, and solution recommendations.
- Answer technical questions in RFIs/RFPs and support proposals.
- Keep sales and leadership informed on progress, risks, and feedback.
Customer Technical Engagement & Adoption
- Guide customers and partners from design reviews to pilots and scale-up.
- Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and hands-on sessions.
- Support proof-of-concept and pilot deployments at key customer sites.
- Help design systems using UR/MiR hardware, sensors, perception, and AI.
- Troubleshoot robotic performance issues during pre- and post-sale engagements.
- Create reference architectures and best-practice guides for Physical AI adoption.
Physical AI & Robotics Applications Support
- Support robot data collection, including teleoperation and demonstration capture.
- Guide dataset and annotation requirements for model training.
- Support sim-to-real workflows with NVIDIA Isaac Sim/Isaac Lab or similar tools.
- Contribute to perception, control, and AI inference design on UR/MiR platforms.
- Support ROS/ROS2 development for automation applications.
- Advise on sensor integration and data management.
Partner & Ecosystem Enablement
- Train partners on UR/MiR software, AI workflows, and deployment best practices.
- Collaborate on customer deployments to ensure strong execution and experience.
- Create enablement programs, playbooks, and certification materials.
- Grow Bay Area partners for co-selling and solution delivery.
- Represent Teradyne at industry events and partner summits.

- The role requires a Bachelors degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred for candidates with deeper AI/ML robotics research experience.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Field Applications, Solutions, Pre-Sales, or Technical Account Management in robotics, automation, or AI is required.
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 for robot application development and integration is essential.
- Experience designing or integrating perception, manipulation, or mobile robot systems using sensors and AI inference pipelines is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Python; C++ familiarity is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the Bay Area and occasionally nationally is required.
