About the role

Inpatient PM&R Physician responsible for leading the development of a new rehabilitation program within a 266-bed acute-care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the new inpatient rehabilitation unit, primarily treating acute rehab patients with conditions such as stroke, orthopedic injuries, amputations, neurological disorders, and debility.
• Manage a 20-bed unit with a dedicated team of therapy and nursing staff.
• Perform inpatient consultations within the hospital or nursing homes, if interested.
• Take on Medical Directorship duties to oversee clinical operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board eligible or certified in PM&R.
• Strong leadership and clinical skills in inpatient rehabilitation.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff.
