Physiatrist Independent 1099
Responsibilities
A typical partnership involves treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. You will assist in managing medically complex patients, expedite their return to work, and functional restoration. You will work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, providing specialist services such as EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Additionally, you will communicate with employers and actively participate in case management.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance covering you while on site
