PHYSIATRIST

About the role

The Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore (formerly Sinai Rehabilitation Center) is seeking a full-time employed Physiatrist to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will work with a broad patient population addressing various diagnostic conditions including musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, mild to moderate brain injury, and cancer rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Participate in research activities and contribute to the academic environment
• Assist in training and mentoring of residents and fellows
• Engage in in-house call and inpatient call as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Ability to successfully obtain a Maryland medical license and DEA license

Qualifications

• Experience in treating patients with complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Interest in academic and research opportunities

Benefits

The Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore offers a competitive guaranteed base salary of $225-280K, dependent on specialty, board certification, and experience. Additional incentive compensation may be available based on performance.

Schedule

This role is full-time and requires some inpatient call at Sinai Hospital.
