PHP PROGRAM SPECIALIST - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies.
• Manage activities of daily living for patients.
• Implement and train programs as needed.
• Develop and maintain the treatment schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• A minimum of 1 year prior experience with behavioral management of acute child/adolescent individuals required.
• Associate's Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Masters Degree in Psychology or related field strongly preferred.
• BLS Provider certification through the American Heart Association and CPI certification required upon completion of orientation.
• Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior management, CPI leadership skills, diagnostic understanding behind behaviors often exhibited within milieu, and CPR training.
