Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Process development, optimization, device integration
- Architecture, characterization, analysis
- Scale-up, yield improvement
- Laboratory operating procedures
Required Skills
- Experience with film deposition techniques of evaporation, sputtering, and reactive CVD
- Experience fabricating and testing solar cells with novel materials including thin film silicon, perovskite solar cells, and III-V's specifically GaAs
- Practical knowledge related to the manufacturing limitations of solar cells using novel materials
- Familiarity with techniques such as solar simulation, quantum efficiency, hall measurements, current vs voltage, capacitance vs voltage, and microscopy
- Experience with high vacuum and vacuum based deposition techniques
- Strong technical report writing skills
Education/Experience
- Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering with up to 5 years of experience
Other Desired Skills
- Familiarity with techniques such as solar simulation, quantum efficiency, hall measurements, current vs voltage, capacitance vs voltage, and microscopy
- Experience with high vacuum and vacuum based deposition techniques
- Strong technical report writing skills

- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering with up to 5 years of experience.
